    To ensure a smooth experience, our welcome guide provides simple instructions on how to measure your room and use the VR Cardboard headset. These instructions are easy to follow, allowing you to navigate through the process with confidence.

    During your initial consultation, we will personally guide you through the setup and address any difficulties you might encounter. We’re committed to ironing out any challenges and ensuring that you feel comfortable using the technology.

  • The cardboard VR headset can handle screens up to 6 inches, but don’t worry – you can still enjoy your 360 render by simply moving your phone around or using your finger.

  • Of course we can! Helping with the layout of your home is our expertise and what we’re here for. We’ll provide you with floor plans that include annotated furniture placements. This will give you a clear visual representation of how the furniture should be arranged in each room. We’re dedicated to ensuring that your space is optimised for both functionality and aesthetics.

  • Choosing the right service has never been simpler. On our website, under the “Services” tab, you’ll find a clear interior design package comparison table at the bottom of the page. This easy-to-read chart highlights exactly what’s included (and what’s not) in each of our pre-made online interior design services.

    The comparison table gives you a quick overview of features, benefits, and pricing, helping you confidently decide which package best suits your style, budget, and design needs.

  • If you have an open plan space or a double reception room, don’t forget to add the “Open Plan Pack” to your shopping cart when using our Build Your Own Design Service. This add-on can also be combined with any of our pre-made interior design packages for maximum flexibility.

    For larger rooms with three or more distinct areas - such as a kitchen, living, and dining space, you’ll need to purchase two Open Plan Packs to ensure every area is designed seamlessly. This way, your entire space is covered, and the finished result feels perfectly balanced.

  • Certainly, we can assist you, but it’s important to note that our typical consultation and design process usually takes around three to four weeks. If this timeframe aligns with your requirements, we are more than happy to work with you and provide our services.

    However, if you’re in need of immediate assistance or have a stricter deadline, we might not be able to accommodate your rush request.

    Please let us know your timeframe, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

  • At aIDyl, our online interior design process moves at your pace. We do not proceed until we have received all the necessary information from you, ensuring a fully personalised and accurate design.

    For clients who provide prompt feedback and decisions, most projects can be completed in approximately three weeks. If you prefer a more flexible timeline, we can accommodate your schedule — we move forward only when you’re ready.

    Our priority is to deliver a high-quality, detailed interior design that meets your needs, combining efficiency with careful attention to every aspect of your space.

    There, you’ll find before and after images of spaces we have designed, giving you a glimpse of our style and the transformations we’ve achieved.

  • Yes, we design commercial spaces too! Send us an email, and we’ll confirm if we can take on your project and provide you with a quote. We look forward to hearing from you and discussing your commercial design needs!

  • We have no location restrictions, that’s the beauty of online interior design! We can assist you no matter where you are, whether in London, California, Sydney, or anywhere else in the world. As long as we can communicate in English, we’re happy to meet your design needs wherever you may be. However, please note that aIDyl VR Goggles are only shipped within the UK.

  • We can’t personally recommend any tradesmen. Ask your family and friends for recommendations, they usually know reliable people who’ve done work for them. You can also check out websites like Check A Trade. Just remember to get at least three different quotes before making a decision. Oh, and don’t always go for the cheapest option! Quality matters, so weigh all factors before choosing.

    Our Build Your Own Interior Design Service gives you complete flexibility to choose exactly what you want included in your package. Every Build Your Own package, regardless of size, comes with a complimentary phone or video brief to ensure your vision is fully understood.

    If your project involves significant updates - such as replacing furniture, upgrading electrical components, or installing new window treatments, make sure to share your budget for these areas. This allows your designer to source appropriate items and create a design that aligns with your financial constraints.

    3. Transparent Communication
    Be open about your budget with your designer. Clear communication helps them tailor their recommendations and ensures your design is both beautiful and functional. At aIDyl, we thrive on working within your budget to deliver affordable and high-quality interior design solutions.

  • For clients who purchase the pre-made Refresh package, please note that no modifications can be made after the initial consultation. Any changes requested beyond this point will incur an additional fee to cover the extra time required.

    Clients who choose the pre-made Revive or Reinvent packages enjoy greater flexibility. You can make adjustments to your project up until the second consultation, during which your floor plans will be finalised and approved. After this stage, no further changes can be accommodated, and any additional modifications will be subject to an extra time charge.

    For those using the Build Your Own Design Service, the rules depend on the specific options selected. If your package is similar to the Refresh package, the same restrictions apply. If it aligns more closely with the Revive or Reinvent packages, you can expect the same flexibility as described above.

    Understanding these guidelines helps ensure a smooth online interior design process and allows our team to deliver high-quality, personalised results within the agreed timeline.

  • Yes! As part of our interior design services, we offer flooring, paint, and wallpaper options, which may vary depending on the package you select.

    If you opt for the Build Your Own Design Service, you can add these options under Section 03: Bringing It All Together. This allows you to customise your design and select the finishes that you feel are needed in your space.

Our designs are not only immersive but also budget-friendly. With our 3D designs, you can fully visualise your space and avoid any costly errors. We want to make sure you get the perfect result for your project without breaking the bank.

  • Receiving your design is a breeze! Once all the details are finalised and your design is ready, you have a couple of convenient options to access it.

    Firstly, you can simply log into your account and find all your design files neatly organised on your personal dashboard. It's a centralised hub where you can easily view, download, and access all the elements of your design. It provides a user-friendly and hassle-free experience, ensuring that everything you need is right at your fingertips.

    If you prefer a more direct approach, we can also deliver your design straight to your email inbox. 

  • Yes! One of the key benefits of our design service is giving clients access to my trade discounts. We are continually building relationships with trade partners so we can pass these savings directly on to you. If there’s a particular store you’d like to purchase from, just let us know and we’ll explore what we can arrange.

    By passing on these trade discounts, it often offsets the cost of our design service - meaning, in many cases, our interior design service can effectively be free.

  • As an affordable interior design service, we do not provide full project management where we take complete control and place furniture orders on your behalf. Instead, our goal is to make the process as simple and convenient as possible for you.

    For each project, we provide a comprehensive shopping list with up to 10 essential items for your space. Each item comes with direct links to the recommended retailers, so you can purchase furniture and accessories easily and securely. This approach gives you full flexibility to manage the ordering process while still benefiting from our expert guidance.

    The only time we place orders on your behalf is when you take advantage of our trade discounts, allowing you to access savings that are normally reserved for industry professionals.


My Designer

  • Upon purchasing one of our design packages, you will receive a welcome guide that outlines the specific details and information required by your designer. These include:

    • Inspiration photos: Collect and share images that reflect your desired style and aesthetic.

    • Functional preferences: Communicate how you want the room to function and any specific needs or requirements.

    • Needs and wants: Clearly express your must-have elements, design preferences, and desired features.

    • Floor plans and pictures: Provide accurate floor plans with measurements and share pictures or videos of the current space.

    These details will guide your designer in creating a personalised design that meets your vision and requirements. The welcome guide will provide further guidance on gathering and sharing this information.

  • Unfortunately, we do not offer in-person visits as part of our design service. In order to provide an affordable and accessible service, our design process is entirely online.

    However, rest assured that we have taken measures to make the online experience seamless and convenient for you. If you have concerns about taking measurements, our welcome guide includes helpful tools and instructions to guide you through the process accurately. We are committed to ensuring that you receive a high-quality design service, even without a physical visit to your home.

  • During the entirety of the design service, your designer is readily available for communication through WhatsApp. Feel free to reach out with any inquiries or concerns you may have. Additionally, your designer will keep you updated on the progress of your design and may seek your input or clarification through WhatsApp to ensure the final design meets your expectations and satisfaction.

  • To make the most of your collaboration with a designer, it's essential to share as much information as possible. Don't hold back – the more, the better! We genuinely appreciate your honesty about your likes and dislikes. Being transparent with us will ensure that you're happier with the final design. Another key factor is your active involvement. If you can respond quickly to our messages on WhatsApp, you'll have a fantastic experience working with us.

  • Absolutely! We're more than happy to design unique furniture to fit those tricky spaces you might have. We'll provide you with floor plans and 3D renders, which you can share with your contractor to convey your vision. But remember, the contractor will need to take final measurements to create the actual piece. Our floor plans are just for visualisation, not for making the bespoke furniture itself.
